How to Attach Patches to Your Charlie Pickles Bag
A Quick Guide
At Charlie Pickles, we love seeing how our customers personalize their bags with our fun and stylish patches! Whether you’re adding initials, a favorite symbol, or a pop of personality, we want to make sure you know exactly how to attach your patches for the best results. Here’s the scoop on how to get those patches securely on your bag—and keep them there!
The Peel-and-Stick Method: Easy and Fun!
When you purchase a bag and patches from Charlie Pickles, attaching your patches is as simple as peel-and-stick! Each patch comes with a strong adhesive backing that makes it super easy to customize your bag right out of the box.
•Pros: It’s quick, effortless, and allows you to reposition patches if you want to switch things up.
•Cons: While the adhesive is strong, it’s not permanent, so for a longer-lasting hold, we recommend the next steps.

For a Permanent Hold: Glue Is Your Best Friend
If you’re ready to commit to your patch placement, the best method we’ve found is specialty permanent glue—and we’ve tested a lot of them! The winner? E-6000 glue.
•Why E-6000? It’s strong, reliable, and works perfectly with nylon bags. Plus, it’s easier to use than worrying about the right heat settings for ironing.
•Where to Get It? We sell mini tubes of E-6000 glue both in-store and online, so you can grab exactly what you need without hunting it down elsewhere.

What About Iron-On Patches?
Some patches are labeled as “iron-on,” but because iron settings vary, we always recommend the glue method for applying patches from us, or other vendors to your Charlie Pickles Nylon bags. You need the right pressure, heat and application methods to get something to stick and also not ruin what you're putting it on.
•Heat Settings Can Be Tricky: Different materials (like our nylon bags) require specific heat levels, and it’s easy to accidentally use too much or too little heat.
•Glue Is Foolproof: With E-6000, you don’t have to worry about damaging your bag or patch—it’s a simple and effective solution.
