In my search for Halloween window design ideas, I knew we needed something super fun and light hearted, to match our whole vibe. As I do at night, I was browsing Pinterest for styling ideas and came across the perfect picture from 2008 - a window of a Patricia Field store.
It was PERECT. I tried to find more pictures and whomever was the genius behind the design to no avail.
I decided to recreate the concept for our shop and here are the steps if you too want some wild and whacky Pumpkins for your home.
MATERIALS
Pumpkins .... Amazon
Spray Paint ........ Dang Spray Paint
I didn't prime the pumpkins at all, and you can get away with one coat on the pumpkin with a good spray! I'm a huge fan of Dang Spray paints because of the colour variation and low cost.
For the contrasting colour around the stem, eyes, nose and mouth, I just used acrylic paint or, go to Lowes of Home Depot and get a sample pot of various colours for under $10.00. This is my trick for getting custom colours on a budget.
