Charlie Pickles is a unique retail experience that incorporates a love of design, gifting, nostalgia, high quality items and sourcing from around the world. At our core is our love of finding items that spark joy - and the love of gifting. Everyone is welcome, and we invite you to come and say hello.

Our journey started in 2004 when Lindsay Stephenson, the owner of Charlie Pickles, started a stationery company called "Penny People Designs" which was later rebranded to "The Penny Paper Co." Over the years The Penny Paper Co. expanded to be a wholesaler of retail goods to retail stores across North America. Lindsay had a line of artwork, bedding and pillows under the "Lindsay Stephenson Designs" brand at stores like Homesense and TJMaxx in the United States. Lindsay's love of retail, sourcing and products led her to expand to open Charlie Pickles - a retail experience online that allowed people to build and send gifts to loved ones across North America. As Charlie Pickles grew online, Lindsay looked for a warehouse space for the company to grow - but decided upon a retail space in Toronto that allowed her to have a small retail experience and space for the online store to pick and pack orders. Which brings us to today, where Charlie Pickles lives in Toronto's Beach neighbourhood.

To calculate when your order will arrive, we use this formula:

1-3 business days for your order to be picked and packed + Transit Time

Transit time will vary depending on the following factors.
1. Where the order is being shipped to
2. What speed of shipping you select at checkout.

If you are picking up your order you will get an order pickup email when it is ready to be picked up.

Unfortunately we're unable to give a rate without knowing the contents of your order. But shipping rates will vary depending on the weight of your order, the speed and type of transit you pick, and other factors determined at checkout.

Yes, we offer free shipping for orders $150 or more, being shipped within Canada.

Yes, we ship our orders across North America. Duties and taxes are an additional fee and are not included in the cost charged by Charlie Pickles.

Yes. However certain products are not refundable. Please see our refund policy page.

The cost of the return shipping is handled by the customer.
