For David Wong, of The Gargoyle
We’re lucky to be part of one of the best neighbourhoods in Toronto — a place shaped by people who create welcoming spaces and give so much back to the community. Recently we got word that one of our own community members, David Wong of The Gargoyle, was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. With David out of commission due to cancer treatment, David's wife Charlene cannot run the store alone. They will be forced to temporarily close The Gargoyle for a couple of months this fall.
As community members who work, live and love our neighbourhood, we have come together to build this auction, where all proceeds are donated to David and his family so financial stress is not something they have to think of while David recovers.
